GAU-ANSH

HAPPY COWS, HAPPY US

OUR INSPIRATION

In loving memory of our parents, we established the Goshala in 2010 with a few cows. With the grace of our Guru and the Divine, we were blessed with this wonderful opportunity to experience Goseva. We are thankful to all our gurus who have guided us in serving the cows better and continue to work towards their betterment.

OUR VISION

“There is no bigger religion than self-less service or seva. Be discreet with your kindness” – Late. Shri RC Bothra

Our foundation flourishes on these words. Our founders Late. Shri RC Bothra and Kumud Kumari Bothra were firm believers of compassion and service. Our idea of giving back to the society buds from our founders’ philosophy. We believe that even the smallest acts of compassion can bring about huge transformation around us. And therefore, we are here.

NURTURING MALNOURISHED CHILDREN

To ensure that every child receives the essential nutrition necessary for a healthy life, we are making a humble effort on our part. The milk we collect daily from our Goshala is provided to visually impaired students at the Rushikonda Blind School, as well as to our staff. During the hot summer months, we prepare special refreshments and offer them to the public through shelter booths. We also extend invitations to students from various schools to visit our Goshala, where they have the opportunity to participate in activities such as feeding cows, crafting cow dung products, and engaging in various other daily tasks. This enriches their exposure and allows them to appreciate the significance and value of cows.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Women at Goshala play a vital role in crafting our cow dung products – every Gauansh product is lovingly handmade by them. Additionally, they contribute to the care and harvesting of green grass with genuine passion and care. These remarkable women serve as a constant source of inspiration, demonstrating unwavering enthusiasm and dedication towards living independently. Their round-the-clock commitment is exceptionally inspiring to us. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the women who are an integral part of our foundation's workforce. Their enthusiasm and dedication continue to inspire us each day.

PANCHGAVYA

Panchagavya represents the five nutrition-rich products of the cow: milk, urine, dung, ghee, and curd. These elements hold irreplaceable medicinal significance in Ayurveda and traditional Indian clinical practices. Panchagavya treatment is often referred to as 'Cowpathy.' Renowned for its effectiveness in treating various diseases and ailments across multiple bodily systems, including severe conditions, all without causing any side effects, Panchagavya boasts multifaceted benefits. Its impact extends beyond health, contributing to building a healthy population, meeting complete nutritional requirements, fostering a pollution-free environment, and, most importantly, playing a pivotal role in organic farming. Embracing Panchagavya is not merely a return to traditional wisdom but a step towards holistic well-being, sustainability, and harmonious coexistence with nature.

TESTIMONIALS

"We have been using the incense sticks and cones for over 3 years and it's exceptional. The fact that we are no more burning any wood / stick and the whole thing is eco friendly and natural makes it more appealing. Being cruelty free and proceeds that goes back to welfare, Gauansh is a bright example of self reliance for continuous animal welfare and cretaing employment in the rural area. Not only we pray while using the incense stick but also feel good that 100%  proceeds goes towards making a better world selflessly by the founders."
